2018 1-Act Festival

The 2018 Edinburgh round of the SCDA One-Act Festival will be held  between Thursday 15th - Saturday 17th February 2018  at the Church Hill Theatre, Morningside Road, Edinburgh. The adjudicator will be  Gavin Orr, a SASDA adjudicator from Polmont.

Thurs 15th Feb:

EGTG 2:    'A Number ' by Caryl Churchill - "If that's me over there, who am I?"

The Livingston Players (SCIO) 'The Sociable Plover' by Tim Withnall  "All will be revealed - inside the hide.."

Twilighters 'Blind Date' by Peter Quilter " . hoping to get it right this time even though they've never got it right before"

Fri 16th Feb:

Leitheatre Sunnyside:  'After Midnight, Before Dawn ' by David Campton " I'll not hang: the Devil takes care of his own"

Edinburgh Makars B 'The Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish' by David Tristram "…two worlds a million miles apart are suddenly on a collision course'

EPT  Last Tango In Little Grimley by David Tristram "there's only one thing that sells tickets these days"

Sat 17th Feb:

Leitheatre Kirkgate - 'First Class' by James Beagon "Three lives, three choices, three trains"

EGTG 1 The Ram In The Thicket' by Glen Mhor  "We have the fire and the wood" the boy said, "but where is the lamb?"

Edinburgh Makars A 'Gino of the Lamp' by Paul Bovino "Out of the whole, what is it that Betsy will wish for?"
